Required components of the application:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution
- Minimum undergraduate/post-baccalaureate GPA of 3.0
- Minimum of three years of professional work experience (five years preferred), in health care or a related field. (Some internship experience may be considered)
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- Statement of Purpose including a description of individual strengths and interests and how the program will benefit the applicant professionally
- 3 Letters of Recommendation - at least one should be from a relevant employer
- TOEFL or IELTS scores (International Applicants only) - UCSD requires a minimum score of 85 for the TOEFL exam and a minimum score of 7.0 for the IELTS exam)
- Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, UC San Diego will be accepting the TOEFL iBT Home Edition test scores and IELTS Indicator test scores for the 2021-2022 academic cycle. Applicants that do not have in-person testing options may submit the home edition scores as an alternative. Please see our English Language Proficiency page for more information.
