Dr. Bruce Ovbiagele

“I was recently appointed Associate Dean at the University of California San Francisco and Chief of Staff of the San Francisco VA Healthcare System (SFVAHCS).  The leadership skills that I gained from UC San Diego’s MAS in The Leadership of Healthcare Organizations gave me the tools to reach this position.  Learning about process improvement, strategic management, and healthcare leadership, just to name a few, really helped me understand the broader issues that we face in healthcare and how we can improve our systems to the benefit of our patients.  I truly appreciate the perspective that I gained from this program, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a way to break away from the pack and be an influencer in the field.”
