Corporate Vice President, Population Health and Chief Executive, Accountable Care Organization
Tracy D. Chu is the Corporate Vice President of Population Health and the Chief Executive of the Accountable Care Organization at Scripps Health. In her role she provides oversight for the physician led, high performing ACO network, while leading the development and expansion of Population Health Services across the Scripps Health organization. Additionally, she leads the Scripps Coastal Medical Center ambulatory clinics, one of the largest primary care based medical groups in California. Tracy joined Scripps in 2004 and has held previous leadership positions at Scripps in clinical operations, project management and strategic planning. Prior to this role, Tracy was the Chief Operations Executive for the Scripps Medical Foundation, where she was responsible for the strategy and operations of the primary care clinics, the HealthExpress walk in clinics, the administrative services of the medical foundation and the clinical research support services.
Tracy has extensive experience leading ambulatory clinics and implementing strategic initiatives across the care continuum, collaborating with medical group leadership and health system operations.
Tracy received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota and holds a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership from the University of California, San Diego. She is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and was a former board member of the American Physicians Group.
