“I still have one year left in the LHCO program, but already the knowledge and the esteem of the program has helped me qualify for a managerial position. I am happy to to start this position with the confidence of a world class education. I am excited to make a seamless transition from clinician to manager. Thanks to LHCO, I feel optimistic, deserving, and prepared!” – Ida
Ida recently traveled to San Salvador (July 2014 – August 2014) with IMA Helps:
“I served as an outpatient pharmacist in the city of Zacatecoluca, 30 minutes from San Salvador. We set up a pharmacy from scratch and between two pharmacists and a handful of techs we filled over 1000 prescriptions a day, for over a week. We assisted doctors with primary care, pediatric, OBGYN, prosthetics, and post-surgical patients. We were privilaged to provide medications to patients who would otherwise ill-afford treatment of any kind.”
